Dala Artists’ Oil Paint has a rich, buttery consistency that is attributed to its composite of quality pigments, as well as being triple milled.
Dala oil paint has a high pigment loading, great archival properties and light-fastness.
Use in conjunction with the many Dala Artists Oil Mediums for interesting paint alterations and effects.
Dala Oil Paints can be used straight from the tube and come in a variety of pre-mixed, classic colours which can also be mixed for an even wider colour palette.
Cadmium pigments are brilliantly coloured, with good permanence and tinting power.  Cadmium yellow, orange and red have become familiar artists’ colours. The yellows were first used by artist’s in the 1840. Claude Monet’s famous yellow hues for example are painted in cadmium. The reds are relatively modern pigments only becoming commercially available in 1919
